About 17 corps members deployed in Edo State, who showed Covid-19 symptoms have been admitted to the Stella Obasanjo Hospital, the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Osagie Ebomwonyi, has disclosed.
Ebomwonyi, who spoke while in company with Governor Godwin Obaseki during an inspection tour of the state’s infectious disease isolation centre at the hospital in Benin, stated that even though the cases were non-vaccinated, they were undertaking studies and analysis to find out if there was Delta variant in the state.
Personal assistant to the state coordinator of the youth scheme, Mr. Ozeto Waheed, said the 17 corps members serving in the state are currently receiving treatment.
