Bishop Ufuoma Bernard of The Godist Church has criticized the wife of late Prophet TB Joshua, Evelyn, over her emergence as head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

following the death of Prophet TB Joshua, Evelyn was appointed as the new leader of the SCOAN church despite the leadership tussle.
Reacting in a post shared on his Facebook page, Bishop Bernard described Evelyn as a “Jezebel”, accusing her of “muscling” her way into SCOAN’s leadership.
The cleric recounted how some big churches in the country crashed after the wives of the founders took over the affairs of the church following their death.
Noting that the church is not a family business, Bishop Bernard wrote: “Evelyn Joshua is a Jezebel.
“When Nkechi Iluputaife took over from the murdered husband, the biggest church in Lagos, Victory Christian Church, at the time collapsed.
“When Margaret Idahosa used wayo to take over Church of God Mission after Benson Idahosa suffered cardiac arrest the church dwindled in profile. Now Evelyn Joshua has muscled her way into the topmost position of Synagogue and certainly Synagogue is going down. Church is not family business.”
