According to BBC Hausa, a military fighter jet mistakenly bombed the village of Buhari in Yobe State, killing dozens of civilians in the early hour of September 15, 2021.
According to a villager who spoke to BBC, three fighter jets circled the area before one of the pilots dropped the bomb on the civilians.
He went on to say that five of his relatives were killed in the incident. The military has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
Villagers are unsure whether the jets belong to Nigeria or Niger, but its unlikely to be Niger’s because it’s on Nigeria Soil.
