A Nigerian man who returned to the country after 23 years abroad to reclaim property he had been sending money for was allegedly detained against his will by his own family.
Sources reveal that the man, whose identity remains undisclosed, arrived with expectations of taking possession of the property he had financed over the years. However, his family members reportedly resisted his claim and instead took him to an Alfa (Islamic cleric), where he was allegedly held captive.
