Nigerians have reacted to decision made by management Osun State University, Osogbo under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Labode Popoola to hold a “Parents/Guardians Meeting”.
The meeting was tagged “Parents’ Forum” which is scheduled to hold on Monday 16th of August, 2021 in University main campus, Osogbo.
However, Nigerians on social media have started calling UNIOSUN different names because of this meeting. Some expressed they have never seen an institution in Nigeria calling PTA meeting. Many wondered why a university will be calling for parents meeting, tagging it a glorified primary school. other said “Advanced Secondary School.
