Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, the former Governorship aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State, has resigned his membership of the party.
Ogunbiyi who contested against Senator Ademola Adeleke in 2018 and lost the controversial party primaries by seven votes announced this development in a letter sent to the National Chairman of the party on Tuesday.
Recall that he aspired to fly the PDP flag in 2022 but withdrew hours to the primaries elections, alleging that the process was also compromised to favour an aspirant.
