Ibrahim Jamiu Opeyemi, a bonafide member of All Progressives Congress, APC, has declared his intention to contest for the Oriade LG seat in the Osun State House of Assembly in 2023.
Ibrahim Jamiu popularly known as ‘Apase 1’ told the party executives that he decided to run for the office because he is qualified and fit to represent the constituency in the State House of Assembly.
When talking to party leaders, he explained how he has contributed and worked for the party in the previous elections also talked on his outstanding contribution to his community and most especially the present government at the revenue sector, hence he needed a higher platform to do more and to better the lives of his people.
He said his people whom he had served in different capacities came, calling him to contest the election. He said through the House of Assembly he will contribute more to the development of local government.
“In lieu of the above, I therefore use this means to humbly notify the entire public and the ever- dependable and trustworthy people of Oriade LG that your brother, your son, and your friend have answered your call and has therefore made myself available for the race”.
He expressed confidence in the party, assuring that he would win the election.
