Mr Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been declared the winner of Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.
The INEC Chief returning officer, Prof Ogundipe who is also the Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos, while given the breakdown of the total votes scored by the participating political parties, said that Mr Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate scored 403,371 to come first in the race, and the Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of (APC) scored 375,027 to come second.
