Senator Kashim Shettima has boasted that 30 Bishops attended his unveiling as the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
He made the claim during the unveiling event yesterday.
Recall that the event which took place yesterday was graced by the presence of many unknown Bishops and clergymen.
The incident caused serious backlash on social media with people accusing the APC of hiring the clergymen who are unknown.
Kashim Shettima said:
“I want to pay tribute to 30 bishops of the Christian Faith, who are here with us. I want to thank them, I want to thank you for your leadership, I want to thank you for your generosity” he was quoted saying.
