Following the union’s prolonged strike, Bashir El-Rufai suggested that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) be scrapped and replaced by ducators who care about students.
Bashir, the governor of Kaduna State’s son, referred to the academic union in a tweet as “useless.”
‘ASUU is a very useless Union. They should be scrapped & replaced with educators that actually give a damn about students and how that translates to the future of this country.” he tweeted.
