In what we come across as really startling development in Ondo State, 32 people have been abducted by gunmen believed to be kidnappers.
The tragedy apparently happened over the weekend while the 32 victims were leaving a funeral service in Benin City, Edo State.
It was learned that the victims were being transported on a Coaster bus when they were ambushed by the attackers.
Officers of the Amotekun Corps have started scouring the Benin-Ifon to Owo forest right away after the incident.
Adetunji Adeleye, Commandant of the corps in the state, confirmed the incident and said that the command would do all possible to rescue the victims.
The Amotekun Corps and other security agencies, according to Adeleye, had been informed and had since started a search and rescue operation.
