Before being sentenced later this month, well-known Nigerian fraudster and Instagram big boy Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi has asked with US Judge Otis Wright to be compassionate and give him a lighter term.
The social media sensation who was arrested in 2020 on suspicion of multi-million dollar fraud said in court that he had changed and had become one of the greatest cleaners in the prison.
According to reports made public by People’s Gazette, Hushpuppi’s record, which included a portion of his document questioning the recommended sentence of the prosecutors, demonstrated that he performed effectively and got along well with other prisoners.
Ramon’s attitude, work quality, dependability, and productivity between July 2021, when he enrolled, and November 2021, when he finished his work, were all rated as “very good.”
“He is currently working within his prison cleaning windows and showers—for which he has received great personal evaluations,” Louis Shapiro, Hushpuppi’s lawyer penned in the memorandum submitted on September 5.
