Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State, has been chosen by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, to serve as the Director General of the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC).
Former Cross Rivers State governor Liyel Imoke was selected by PDP as the Deputy Director of General Operations, while professor Adewale Oladipu was named the Deputy Director of Administration.
Ekwesilieze Nwodo was appointed as the Deputy Director of Research and Strategy, and Raymond Dokpesi as the Deputy Director of Technical and Systems of the NCMC.
In a statement released on Thursday, the party’s national organizing secretary, Umaru Bature, made the announcement.
According to Bature, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel was appointed as the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) while the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed was appointed as the Vice Chairman, North.
The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde was appointed as the Vice Chairman South of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and other governors are members of the PCC.
