Many Nigerians have condemned Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, for falling asleep at a meeting with Abubakar Shehu-Abubakar, the Emir of Gombe, on Saturday.
Concerns regarding Tinubu‘s health fragility and suitability for the presidency have often been voiced by certain Nigerians.
He was In Gombe to attend the wedding of Misbahu Inuwa Yahaya, the son of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, with other political titans, including Senate President Ahmed Lawan, and decided to stop by for a quick visit and political meeting in the Emir’s Palace. Naijalamp reports.
While the meeting was unfolding at the emir’s palace, Tinubu was seen dozing off while Lawan could be seen speaking into the microphone.
This has caused fury online, with many critics claiming that it is another example of his frailty and that he may need to take a break rather than run for president.
