Shina Peller, a representative from Oyo State, paid a visit to Ademola Adeleke, the incoming governor of Osun State.

Peller and representatives of the Lead Generation Initiative (LGI) visited Senator Ademola at his country home in Ede, Osun State.

On Tuesday, Peller claimed in a series of tweets that he had a conversation with the Osun governor-elect on the necessity of allowing young people to actively participate in governance.

The federal representative for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa campaigned for young participation in Adeleke’s government, particularly once Adeleke is sworn in as governor of Osun.

He wrote: “I visited the Osun State Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, at his country home, Ede, in Osun State, with members of the Lead Generation Initiative (LGI).

We had a very robust conversation bordering on the need to give room for the youth to take an active part in decision-making and governance, particularly when he is sworn in as the Executive Governor of the state.

“The governor-elect promises to work with the lead generation initiative structure in the state and provide opportunities for the young leaders, relying on the leadership skills already acquired from the LGI training.

“I congratulated the governor-elect for his landslide victory in the last governorship election and promised to support the government of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke and handed the structure of the Lead Generation Initiative in Osun to the governor-elect.

“He was happy and appreciated me for the vision and passion for training the youth to become the leaders that the country desire at the moment to turn around the fortunes of the nation.
