Man who publicly displays his wealth and implores his followers to “hustle” has been detained on suspicion of kidnapping.
The man known as “Lion” is believed to be a notorious kidnapping kingpin. He was captured in Abuja after being traced from Bayelsa.
After being arrested, Lion is seen begging for forgiveness in a video. He said that he had only abducted 2 people.
He also pleaded for release since his wife had recently given birth to a child.
A man there, however, said that he was one of Lion’s victims and that the suspect had abducted more than two persons.
He described how Lion reportedly threatened to kill him after he abducted him.
Lion is seen flaunting money online in videos from his social media pages.
