According to President Muhammadu Buhari, insecurity would be eliminated before the year 2022 comes to an end.
He made the promise on Saturday, September 24, at the 2022 Olojo Festival’s grand finale in Ile-Ife, Osun.
However, the president stated that all Nigerians must take part in the fight to eradicate insecurity in a statement sent through the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
He noted that the war against insecurity could not be left to only the security agencies to handle.
“All of us must be concerned about security. The government will play its part; we must work together with security agencies to overcome the challenges of insecurity,” he said.
