Senator Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun, met with Hon. Timothy Owoeye, Speaker of Osun House of Assembly, on Tuesday.
The meeting was held amid rising concern over rumors of a strained relationship between the Executive and the Legislature, as well as the Governor’s Executive Orders, particularly those pertaining to the revocation of the State’s Name, Anthem, and Appellation.
According to sources, the Speaker and his colleagues paid a visit to the Governor’s home in Ede to congratulate him on his inauguration and assumption of office.
Adeleke and Owoeye were also claimed to have spoken on how to enhance the relationship between the two arms of government.
