Nigerian actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh has written an apology message to her colleague, Funke Akindele.
This comes after she missed the premiere of Akindele’s latest movie, Battle on Buka Street.
The movie premiered on Sunday, December 11 in Lagos.
Colleagues like Iyabo Ojo, Sola Sobowale, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Femi Adebayo, among others all showed up to support one of their own.
Tonto also received an invite to the movie premiere but failed to attend for undisclosed reasons.
Apologizing for missing the premiere of the movie, she wrote:
“Congratulations sis.
“Sorry for not making it to the premiere of BATTLE ON BUKA STREET. My team couldn’t stop telling me how amazing the movie is and I can’t wait for our cinemas date to go see the film!!!
Guys BATTLE ON BUKA STREET will start showing in cinemas nationwide from the 16 of December make sure to see this movie!!

When Funke came across the post, she replied; “My sister, thanks.”
