President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy including a helicopter was attacked by some Kano residents during a visit to the state today, January 30.
President Buhari is in the state to commission some projects.
During the visit, angry Kano citizens were seen hurling stones at the helicopter and yelling “Bamayi” (we don’t want) in videos uploaded online.
This comes days after Governor Abdullahi Ganduje urged Buhari to postpone his visit owing to security concerns related to the hardships Nigerians are experiencing as a result of the Naira swap deadline and fuel scarcity.
