Tears As Popular Nollywood Actress Is Laid To Rest (Video)

Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Gbemisola Anjola, has been laid to rest amidst tears.

It was earlier reported Gbemi as she is fondly called died at the age of 33 after battling ovarian cancer.

The death of the thespian comes two years after she was diagnosed with the ailment, which has thrown many of her fans, friends, and colleagues into mourning.

The actress who reportedly went to Dubai, UAE for chemotherapy for about six months died at the hospital after complaining of frequent headaches and loss of memory.

Her colleague, Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin popularly known as Kemity took to Instagram to share videos from the funeral.

Friends and family members present at the funeral shed tears as the movie star is being laid to rest.

Meanwhile, Mourning her via Instagram, Kolawole, said everything in the world is vanity.

“I’ll keep saying it, nothing in this world is forever. We all work and struggle so hard on a life that can be taken at any time, it’s all vanity upon vanity. Good night Gbemi,” he wrote.

Other of her colleagues such as Nkechi Blessing, Itele, and Kemi Ariyo also mourned her demise.

Kemi Ariyo shared on Instagram an old video of herself and Gbemi together when the latter was undergoing chemotherapy. Kemi had pleaded for more help for the budding actress.

The actress also posted a WhatsApp chat she had with Gbemi in August 2022 when the latter told her she was cancer-free.

“You give me so much hope

Nothing dey this life self,” Kemi captioned the video.

Nkechi Blessing commented on the post that she was weakened by the news of Gbemi’s death
