The National Assembly Service Commission has appointed Magaji Tambuwal as the Clerk of the National Assembly.
Recall that there were controversies at the National Assembly months ago when the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) named Tambuwal as the successor of the outgoing Clerk to the National Assembly, Amos Olatunde Ojo.
His appointment at the time was said to have violated relevant sections of the National Assembly Service Commission Act 2014.
A Public Affairs Analyst, Haruna Abdulsalam Mohammed noted this in a publication four months ago. However, Tambuwal was confirmed for the position in a letter dated Wednesday, 29th March 2023.
