The Nigeria Police Force has deployed Oladimeji Yomi Olanrewaju as the new Commissioner of Police in Ogun State.
He will be replacing Frank Mba who recently got promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General Police (AIG).
Recall that Mba assumed office as Commissioner of Police for Ogun State in February this year.
Police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, however, confirmed in a statement released to journalists in Abeokuta on Wednesday that Olanrewaju is assuming the office of a new CP in the state.
He said the new CP, a graduate of history/political science, joined the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1990 and was trained at the Police Academy, Kaduna Annexe
