Governor Adeleke Is Hoarding FG Palliatives Sent To Osun – APC Alleges

A member of the All Progressives Congress and the immediate past Nigerian Ambassador to Mexico, Mr. Adejare Bello has made a boast.

He stated that APC will regain power lost to the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party in the next governorship poll.

Bello, an indigene of Ede, in Osun State, spoke at a reception organised for him in his hometown by the APC leadership and his supporters, to formally receive him back to the state on Thursday after completing his assignment in the Latin American nation.

In Bello’s speech obtained on Friday, the ex-Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, who charged Adeleke to ensure development of all sectors in the state, said the incumbent may not be reelected for another term in 2026.

He said, “APC is a party to watch out for in 2026. APC is coming back to power, you can be rest assured. The man there today is my friend and brother. I wish him well.

“I congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke when he won the election at the Supreme Court. But when it comes to politics, I have to defend where I belong and that is why I said Osun people should watch out as APC will take over power in 2026.

“I will also want to advise Governor Ademola Adeleke that the remaining years, he has almost three years, he should intensify effort to make sure that he develops every facet of Osun because he may not have another four years to it.”

Commenting on the state of the country’s economy, Bello predicted better days for Nigerian under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, adding that “Nigeria is battered, we all know it. But we have to give him (Tinubu) a kind of synergy, work together, and pray for him.

“There is trade imbalance in Nigeria against other continents, because what we bring in is almost times ten higher to what we send out. What that means is that we have to reduce our demand for imports.

“If I were the president today, I would ban not less than 85 percent of what we bring in as of today. If we don’t do it, tomorrow of Nigeria is very gloomy,” Bello said.
