A Nigerian woman, Aeeshat Ajibike, has narrated how her husband ended up having a child with a hairdresser years after he refused to allow her to learn hairdressing because he claimed to hate the profession.
She disclosed this on Sunday, December 29, while reacting to a Facebook post by a marriage therapist about women who gave up their career and education for marriage only for their husbands to later marry wealthy and educated career women.
“My tale! I begged him to allow me learn hairdressing in my early days with him, he said no. Same with my daughter before she gained admission, he still said NO, that he hated that profession. Only for him to take a hairdresser as a baby mama ( cos no Nikhai happened, though, he called her his 2nd wife). I cried bitterly the day I got to know, cos he told me she’s a fabric seller. I made up my mind to stop putting him first since then. Self love matters,” she wrote.
