The President of LoveWorld Incorporated, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has advised men to take their wives as their first daughter and not as their mate so that they can overlook certain mistakes.
The televangelist made the statement in a trending video capturing him ministering to his congregants.
He explained that when a man sees his wife as his mate, he would get upset whenever she does because he would expect more from her.
Pastor Christ noted that if the man, however, takes his wife as his daughter, he would be more gracious and understanding at the things she does.
He said in part…
“Take your wife as your first daughter, more than as your mate. If you take her as your mate you will be offended at the things she does because you expect more from her. If you take her as your daughter, you will be gracious and you will overlook all the nonsense.”
