A Nigerian woman has cried out for help after losing 5 children in the Yelwata attack in Benue state.
Residents of Yelwata were attacked by armed herdsmen who ransacked the community on Friday night, at about 10 pm till the early hours of Saturday morning.
The attack had left over 200 people dead and others injured.
Speaking in a video, the woman narrated how the incident happened, revealing that she lost 5 of her children to the attack, including her beloved mother.
The UK based Nigerian, doctor @OurFavOnlineDoc who shared the video captioned:
“This lady lost all her 5 children and she also lost her mother at the recent Yelwata Massacre in Benue State.
The pain is deep and piercing.
How do you console someone like this?
How do you tell her to “reconcile” with those who wiped out her family”
