Zainab, daughter of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) chieftain Buba Galadima, has stated that President Bola Tinubu may secure only 30 percent of the Northern vote in the 2027 presidential election.
In an interview on Mic On podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, Zainab warned that the 2027 election would be Tinubu’s toughest political battle ever.
She said: “It’s really bad, Tinubu may get maybe 30 percent or less, it’s going to be worse than the 2023 election.”
On the chances of Tinubu winning the 2027 election, Zainab said: “It’s going to be the toughest battle that he will ever see.
“It’s going to be the toughest because this coalition, as much as I don’t understand what they are doing, but anybody that sees them knows that we need to sit up.”
The coalition, made up of eminent Nigerians, is determined to remove Tinubu from power in 2027.
Last week, the coalition adopted the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and named key officers as it repositions to takeover power from Tinubu.
