Chief Mathias Adum, the Principal Secretary to the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has invited family and friends to his wedding.
This is as he gets set to tie the knot with his lover, Barr Oluchi Ekuma.
The traditional wedding will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
His bride shared their pre-wedding photos in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
“Indeed this day has come and we give God all the glory. It’s our honor to specially invite you to our traditional wedding ceremony,” she captioned the post.
Adum, who is said to be in his 70s, was a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in the state and an ex- Member of the House of Representatives.
The marriage has sparked varying reactions with comments focused on the age gap between the couple.
One Emmanuel Eneh wrote: “Chief Mattias Adum, the Principal Secretary to the Governor of Ebonyi State, set to wed his lover, Barr Oluchi Ekuma. As a young man, let this motivate you, just hustle and make money, woman no be wahala no matter your age as a man just make money.”
