A young Nigerian lady simply identified as Mercy has been successfully rescued from Libya after a terrifying video of her insinuating she might end her life went viral.
In the distressing viral video, the Mercy who could not hold back her tears, said she had tried to keep things going but could no longer cope.
‘’I know this might be my last video but I just needed to document something. I am tired! I am tired! I tried my best.
Victor, my younger brother, I do not wish to leave you but I can’t cope anymore”she said while weeping
Reacting to the video, the Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said her attention was drawn to the young lady’s plight in July.
She said she contacted the Nigerian commission in Libya and Mercy was successfully tracked and rescued. She said the young lady is on her way back to Nigeria.
