Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has delivered a strong warning to married men who seek romantic relationships with young women outside their marriages.

In a sermon delivered recently, the pastor cautioned that any man engaging in deceitful relationships with young women would face divine consequences.

“If you try it this year, you won’t survive. Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media,” Bassey stated, emphasising the spiritual accountability of such actions.

He continued, highlighting scenarios where married men lure women to hotels under false pretences.

“If you take a woman to a hotel, you lie, meanwhile you are married, you will not come out from that hotel,” he warned.

The pastor also addressed women, urging them to recognise when a man is married and to avoid greed or attention-seeking that could compromise their values.

Bassey stressed that God’s grace should guide all interactions and that both men and women must take responsibility for their choices.

“You know in your heart that he is married, but because of greed, because of attention, you want to carry bag. If you try it, you won’t survive it,” he added, urging listeners to uphold integrity and moral discipline in relationships.

“You are a married man going around deceiving young girls. You will not escape the consequences this year; your shåme will be exposed on social media.”

The sermon, which has since circulated on social media, serves as a reminder of the spiritual and social repercussions of extramarital affairs.

Bassey’s statements have sparked discussions online, with viewers expressing both support and criticism of his direct approach.
