Yusuf Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives, representing the Daura/Sandamu/Mai’adua Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Born on April 23, 1992, Yusuf Buhari is married to Zahra Nasir Ado-Bayero, daughter of the Emir of Bichi.
As part of his campaign activities, Yusuf paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, marking the formal launch of his political ambition.
The visit drew notable attention, with key figures in attendance, including the Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, who hails from Katsina State.
The development signals the beginning of Yusuf Buhari’s active entry into Nigeria’s political landscape, as he seeks to represent his constituency at the federal level.
