A bizarre kidnap plot has gone terribly wrong in Rivers State after a man was allegedly abducted by the same criminal gang he hired to kidnap members of his own family.

The suspect, identified as Adawari Samuel Ogolo, was said to have contracted a group of kidnappers to abduct his elder brother, Mr. Tammy Samuel Ogolo, alongside their sister for reasons yet to be disclosed.

However, in a shocking twist, the kidnappers reportedly refused to carry out the operation after allegedly discovering that the intended victim, Tammy Ogolo, was a kindhearted and respected individual.

Sources familiar with the incident disclosed that the gang instead turned against Adawari and whisked him away, abandoning the original mission.

Adawari is reportedly the first son of the second wife of Senior Pastor Samuel Ogolo, the General Overseer of a new-generation church based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The kidnappers are now said to be demanding a ransom of ₦10 million for Adawari’s release.

The unusual incident has sparked reactions across social media, with many describing it as a dramatic case of “karma” and betrayal among criminals.
