Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has announced the arrival of his first child with celebrity designer and entrepreneur, Luminee.
The actor who is an ex-convict shared the joyful news on his Instagram page alongside a heartwarming maternity video featuring himself and his wife as they celebrated their journey to parenthood.
Expressing gratitude to God, Baba Ijesha revealed that they had been blessed with a healthy baby boy.
According to him, God had been working behind the scenes and writing a beautiful story that only He could tell.
“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy.
God gave me more than I prayed for: my ever-beautiful wife, Strong Jagaban, Abikesde mi owoh @ceolumineeofficial, who became the mother of my son, King Kagar Omiyinka @king_kagar_o,” he wrote.
The actor also praised his wife, describing her as one of God’s greatest blessings in his life and expressing appreciation for her strength throughout the pregnancy journey.
The announcement has since stirred reactions online, with fans and colleagues flooding the comment section with congratulatory messages, while others questioned the possibility.
One user wrote, “When did they release him and when did he release in her?” Another commented, “Shock of my life, this can never be true.” A third added, “How? Maybe they are launching a maternity brand.”
It would be recalled that Baba Ijesha regained his freedom in November 2025 after spending over three years in custody following a legal case involving comedian Princess.
Princess had accused the actor of defiling her 14-year-old ward, an allegation that sparked widespread public attention.
