In the just concluded Osun State governorship election, there were reports of vote buying across polling units in the state. Naijalamp also verified several videos circulating online that appeared to reference similar incidents during the election.

In several instances, voters were reportedly offered between N10,000 and N50,000 in exchange for supporting political party.

However, some locals have claimed in a widely shared video that they received money from a political party and then cast their votes for the candidate of their choice.
