Today, September 19, a man who has not yet been identified drowned after being washed away by intense floods in the Abuke Egba area of Lagos state.
The flood carried the man away, and he later found himself submerged in a hole. When people noticed him, they made every effort to rescue him from the water.
Online users uploaded a video of the community members’ efforts to try and save the man. Reports state that attempts to save the man were unsuccessful.
